What I discovered (not learned) from all the known psychic abilities is "healing", the Chi-energy type. It happened in 1985 with a trip to Virginia Beach to an A.R.E. seminar with a Dr, John Upledger (a DO, who also has a degree in Biochemistry). He was prepared for about 30 students for his "hands-on" teaching, but ended up with over 100. It took me only 10 minutes to realize that I too could channel this "energy" and feel its effect, but non-of the other participants apparently could. I ended up helping Dr. Upledger (Maybe unbeknown to him) to work he large room. Channeling or generating this strange healing energy absolutely requires a "teacher" to demonstrate it. It's something you are unlikely to learn by yourself (The Biblical Jesus being the exception.), but even with a good teacher, very few will be able to do it.

I only used this ability for a year or so with people in spiritual groups' etc., mainly to convince myself that it actually worked. It's only "anecdotal evidence", but still nice for personal confidence. E.g., removing a tumor at the uterus one night before scheduled surgery; (fortunately, they do an additional X-ray before cutting), removing migraine and other headaches in 5 minutes. --- It's very convincing.

But how about the motivation of the healer; is it important? Has it got anything to do with this "Love-stuff" of the new-age movement? Has it to do with religious demands of "Sin no more!" and say thanks to "some" God? I am sure the answer is NO. Working with and applying this Chi-energy is "non-dual"; meaning you can use it in any fashion. Using a term from electrical engineering I would call it a carrier-wave connecting two conscious entities. And this wave can be loaded with any purpose and intent. You can "kill" microbes and even a month old fetus, just as our immune system can either kill or restore as required. You can use this energy just for fun, as I did with the very nice girl I had got to know in Virginia Beach who agreed to some games. --- It would take just 10 seconds to make her faint. However, I personally always feel compassion when I want to heal.

For me, this energy (if it is that) flows out of my hands (Hand-Chakras) just as it is illustrated for the Bodhisattva in ancient India. That's also true for Dr. Upledger, but he says it's only so because our mind puts it there, --- makes sense, the process is non physical. (See Matthew: 8.5) To "feel" the pain a disease is causing, my hands need to be about a foot away from the subject (Tumors feel like a pinprick, headaches and nerve damage feels different and so do systemic illnesses.) How do I know it's not all a "Placebo Effect"; that the patient and I are just convinced it works and therefor it does? --- I don't, but do you really care if you are seriously ill? Well, my old scientific mind did care, and I began using it on my cats (mainly to save on veterinary bills). When you own animals you know when they are not well and so do I. For a test, I would wait until they are sound asleep and with my hands 15 inches away I would apply the energy, or not apply it. Without energy they keep sleeping, with it they begin purring and then wake up, and when they feel better they role onto their backs and become playful. ---- Will this convince any scientist? --- Hell NO!

Answering another question on the forum: "ok i think i'm missing something here, harry. --- Yes you do! --- how do you know psychic abilities lead to physical healing? (in each and every case???) if you've already talked about this forgive me, and please restate it in another way (or just explain how you know this)".

Only this one "specific" psychic ability of creating or channeling this mysterious healing energy (Or call it "stuff", because it is none of the four known forces of science.) About it working in each and every case? I made that up, --- just for you. I cannot heal anyone who is totally unreceptive; I get the feeling that the "body" has a shield like a mirror. Also, I had very bad experience with advanced MS (multiple scleroses), I had a smell of death in my nose for days after. However, Dr. Upledger says he can heal it, but with difficulties. As you might have read, Jesus was very reluctant to heal this guy with epilepsy, but then did it anyway. --- And by the way, Dr. Upledger is using both allopathic medicine and psychic healing where appropriate. What he does not need to do is X-ray or expensive MRI, his psychic ability lets him see these things directly --- to me this was just amazing and the fact that I don't have that gift keeps me from using my channeling power --- I am blind.

Your question made me remember a parakeet of a friend of mine, which she had taught a very large number of phrases to say. One late evening I got a phone call and she is crying her heart out. She had just come home from a long business trip and found the bird lying in its cage and barely breathing. Immediately she had rushed to the Emergency Veterinarian Hospital (We have one here in Columbus OH, with the highest paid vets in town.) The doctors took one look at the bird and told her it had about one hour to live, and that there was absolutely nothing they could do.

Normally it took 35 minutes to drive to her place; I made it in 20 this time. (One hour to live!) After I had applied the healing "energy" right through the metal cage for about 10 minutes, the bird began to move, and then got on his feet in a very wobbly manner. First it drank some water and then began to eat. You can't image what a happy girl was sitting beside me on the couch, but then we both began worrying about possible brain damage and no more "talking" bird. She has some knowledge in this field with her doctorate in biochemistry. The bird had been in a separate and closed room and the person paid to feed the cat had forgotten about it --- no water no food for a long time.

So, while we were worrying about brain damage, the darn bird shouted its first phrase. But the funny thing was its choice of words from a very large vocabulary. It said:

Does that answer your question, about what health "really" means for animals? But of course it was only the wisdom of a Birds-Brain, or was it the result of brain damage?

I don't think "health" is an intellectual or philosophical problem, where you have to figure out the meaning of it. ----------------- Back to index.
