Secrets that keep themselves’ are beyond our present "Level of
Consciousness" regardless of Intelligence. While levels of
"Intelligence" are fairly well understood by our "scientific
community", any level of “consciousness” higher than the known "established"
developmental stages is being denied. This is because a scientific-observer
cannot recognize and comprehend a level higher than his or her
own. As Ralph Waldo Emerson said, "What we are, that only can we
see." (It's a case of the color-blind not understanding color.)
Intelligence is a measure of "complexity" and speed of thought, while
consciousness deals more with method or "quality" of thought. Both
mind-qualities are multi-dimensional, but occasionally an "idiot
savant" appears; an exceptionally high intelligence in just one single
area. This is very rare, but for "isolated capabilities" of higher
consciousness it is more common, but it is likewise pathological, because
"An enlightened Idiot remains an Idiot" (paraphrasing Dick Sutphen). Truly
effective and harmonious developments, where the preceding fundamental
rational-mind-stage is fully developed, are minuscule in numbers. This
rational/phenomenological stage is the highest "general" level of
mankind in this millennium and is also assumed here for the reader. Also assumed
is some knowledge of Lao Tzu’s Tao Te Ching,
of Zen, and some Hinduism as well as the teachings of Jesus Christ. A strong
believer in a conventional religion would not qualify and if you call yourself
a "True-Christian" and ask with great outrage, Who
does this guy think he is? --- I'll tell you who,--- I am like the
Roman Centurion in Matthew 8.5, but the praising words of Jesus are directed at
his disciples to overcome their low level of understanding, not at the
Centurion, who would just have laughed and said Thanks but no thanks.
This Roman Centurion, who likely never read the Jewish
Torah, was the only person in Jesus’ life who was close enough to his own High
Consciousness to <recognize> him. ("What we are, that only can we see”.) Jesus must have been very frustrated with his disciples, because they
never developed the <higher level of
consciousness> which he demanded from them, and even his urgent request
for it got lost when it was terribly misquoted by Luke 14:26 “Unless you
hate [the motives and
life-goals which] your father and mother and wife
and brother and sister, and, even yourself [stand for], you can’t be my disciple.”
(I inserted the missing words in square brackets.)
The vital consequence about this stage or
level of consciousness for our lives is that:
